Coming To Terms With Being A Nerd

I‘m slowly coming to terms with being a nerd. (A term I didn’t like before.) But people keep throwing it at me…

- A woman on a date a few weeks ago—the reason why she wanted to go out with me.

- During a workshop in Sweden 🇸🇪 this week, I was called a “sales nerd”.

I’ve always thought that “nerd” is a term for people who got locked into lockers in high school (that was never me).

But really, it might just be someone who likes to geek out about specific topics, in my case:

- Sales
- Holistic health
- Human psychology
- Personal development

My therapist always says to figure out what “my gold” is: why people want me around them (in business and private life).

Maybe it is that.

And for what I’ve received in return so far in the first 32 years on this planet, I can’t complain.

So maybe it’s not that bad, after all?
