How To Land US Clients As An EMEA Startup? 🇺🇸

(I get this question a lot)

Target people in their EMEA offices.

Sounds trivial, but I’ve done it a few times.

Outreach culture in the US is way different. 

Here, you get blocked after three cold emails.

In the US, people might not respond after 8 or 9.

You’ll also have a hard time connecting on LinkedIn.

Therefore: 

1. Win deals in (strategic*) EMEA offices

2. Do a great job that makes buyers confident

3. Then use to scope more use cases & get intros

*e.g. London or Amsterdam

Another way is via strategic partnerships.

Once you’re in, working with Americans is a lot of fun.

They’re straight on point and focused on doing business.
