Sellers Are Terrible Innovators đź’€

(Only 10-20% start big tech brands)

Elon
Zuck
Bezos?

All have engineering backgrounds––making up approx. 50-60% of all successful tech startups.

Why do I, as a seller, think that's a good thing?

Because in the long run, you can't sell a product that isn't great inside and doesn't continuously improve.

Sellers––knowing dozens from 10 years of experience––focus on revenue, which is crucial (and good for services like mine), but impossible to achieve without a great product.

I’ve had the chance to work in a real Silicon Valley company (not just with a fake US HQ, but next to the Stanford grad types) and experienced this firsthand.

They don't just create or copy something useful once––as often seen in Berlin's sales and consultant-driven startup culture––but constantly stay at the forefront of development.

That’s why I think twice about working with a founder who doesn’t have a background in R&D/Product.

Would you?
