Small But Effective Email Trick

Ever tried this simple, yet effective email trick?

Changing the subject line of an ongoing thread.

Why?

It adds an extra inch of professionalism and shows that you are

thinking every step of the sales experience through.

Benefits are:

→ Ensures (faster) open rates even with existing convos

→ Easier to find last convo stage (“Offer”) for same thread

→ Takes out negative wording (“X has declined your invite”)

I’ve seen countless examples of “Re: Re: Re: Declined Invite”

Stop it right now.

Make it more pleasant for the receiver and yourself. Here’s how:

→ Hit reply

→ Click arrow

→ “Edit subject line”

Voilà, done.

P.S. Also works for cold emails, replying to your own messages.

Ever tried it?
