32 today!

4 things I'm proud of from the past 12 months:

1️⃣ I finally have a real gym routine again. During most of my 20s, I was either working myself into exhaustion or battling fatigue and brain fog issues due to serious root causes.

Though those issues are now resolved, nothing has helped stabilize my health as much as this routine. Being even more rigorous with my sleep (thanks Whoop) and cutting out drinking entirely, I maximize these results.

2️⃣ Thanks to a badass therapist from Portugal, I've become much better at observing when my own narcissism and defense mechanisms strike.

I've also become better at identifying what I actually care about in life—things often quite boring and not spectacular, but giving me stability. I also pay much more attention to these aspects in the dating context now.

3️⃣ I keep showing up and improving in my self-employed journey. It’s still mostly an uphill battle and 24/7 on my mind, but things are becoming more streamlined and it shows in the results. There are still plenty of lessons to learn––some the hard way––but I’m mostly enjoying it (also the lifestyle around it).

4️⃣ At the end of 2023, I finally checked off the #1 item on my bucket list and visited Brazil. I’ve felt connected to this country all my life. With my best exchange student friend and my last two girlfriends from Rio, it was about time.

I loved it so much that I stayed until the end of March. I had an amazing time, reconnecting with my inner child, enjoying the landscapes, people, and music, and exploring shadow parts of myself. (The photo was taken there.) My Portuguese has also improved a lot.

That's it.

Thank you to everyone on LinkedIn and those supporting me on my journey.

Your help is more meaningful to me than you may realize. 🙏
